When driving business on Facebook you probably have the challenge that people close your ad and landing page before it has even loaded. Facebook Canvas was developed to tackle this challenge. In our previous blog about Canvas we told you all about the benefits and gave you examples of how brands are using Canvas. Facebook just improved their Canvas solution to make it even easier for advertisers.
Making the full screen experience easier than ever
No matter if you’re a small or big business, from now on you can create Canvas experiences with user-friendly templates based on different business goals. But that’s not it. You can also use every ad format for your Canvas by opening it to collection. Keep in mind, though, that Facebook has only released the improvements to Canvas into their native solutions. This means that the new benefits are not available through their Partners yet.
New templates for business objectives
So far, most advertisers have used Canvas to attract new customers, showcase their business and sell their product. Because these three objectives have been most popular, Facebook has launched three new templates that make it easier for you to create a Canvas for these three particular objectives. Don’t worry, you can still make these templates your own by adding your own content, cropping images to fit the template and reusing assets you already have.

Combining Canvas with Collection
As already revealed 1 minute ago, you can from now on attach your Canvas to your collection. So, when people click on your collection, your Canvas full screen experience opens up instantly. You can either leverage the templates described above together with your existing brand or landing page assets. Or you create a Canvas from scratch and simply attach it to your collection.
